The Girl

My parents actually paid for me to be called Maria, so I bet they’re pissed at all my friends who call me Chester, but I actually prefere it that way. I’m on my early (almost mid) 20’s and I’m a future English teacher, which in Mexico means I’m going to teach the language. Like I said, I’m from some place in Mexico and I learned this language all by myself, so you’ll probably find a lot of grammar mistakes and all that jazz. I still live with my parents but the plan is to move out after I finish college and find a nice job that can pay the bills.

On the internet I’m known as ChesterDEAN, which is a combination of names between Chester Bennington and James Dean (how clever) which I think sounds good together. I love watching movies on an obsessive basis and can’t live without music, sometimes I even take my CD player to the shower, that’s how crazy I am about it. I also like to read and used to do it a lot when I had the time, now I can’t do it as much as I’d want to because a) I have no time b) I have serious sight problems and c)… ok, there was no point C, I just wanted to sound cool.

I personally think I have a good sense of humour, I can laugh at the smallest things until my belly hurts, but I can also be serious and thoughtful… it all depends on my mood and how long did I sleep the night before. One of the things I hate the most is human stupidity, I can’t tolerate someone that’s a complete ignorant and still be proud of it.

My family and my friends are my strength and they mean the world to me, I wouldn’t change a second of my life spent with them. I’m also a single lady by choice, Mr. Right just doesn’t seem to be anywhere near right now and I’m not really waiting for him. Being single can seriously be the best thing to some people, and I’m part of those people.

And generally, I have a pretty normal life with ups and downs. I like to go out with my friends to parties or discos, have a drink or two and enjoy a nice cigarette. I’m probably not a normal 20 something year-old but I’m not that different either.
