Dirty Dancing

I saw this movie last night for the first time in my life and I’m obsessed now. I was already obsessed with the song, but the dancing made me fall in love.

For me, dancing is a really big deal. I love to dance, I go nuts when I’m dancing, and I have to admit I do it pretty well hehehe but I normally dance alone. Only one man had known how to lead me, or it was mostly that we had really good synchronization hehe and watching this movie gave me the URGE of dancing with a partner, but a good one haha.

Plus, Patrick Swayze was really handosme and manly. I never saw him this attractive until this movie. WOW he really won me over. I WANT TO DANCE!

Happy Birthday, Jude & Diego!!!

Shucks, I almost forgot about Jude Law’s birthday. It was on the 29th and we’re already on the 30th hehe he just turned 37. This guy is so very special to me. I started liking hima couple of years ago and now I always follow his career and try to buy my favorite movies of him, I already have a couple. I simply love him.

On the 29th, Diego Luna turned 30. I don’t even know how I started liking Diego, but I do… he’s one of the two Mexican actors I really like (I know, I sound really racist with my own race but we’re just not good at acting I suppose haha). He’s amazing, if it wasn’t for him and Alfonso Herrera, I’d probably never watch Mexican movies haha. The first time I saw him acting, I was like 6 haha he’s amazing!.

Spoiling myself

When I was younger, I didn’t like at all going shopping and trying clothes, I think I actually hated it, I didn’t care about fashion nor anything really girly… but things have changed lately and I’ve been spoiling myself. Today I went shopping with my mom and I got a blouse, a sweater, a skirt and a pair of black boots. I fell in love with the yellow sweater, it’s beautiful even though it doesn’t look that pretty on pictures hehe. And yesterday, my cousin decorated my nails… I’ve never liked fake nails, they annoyed me like hell but right now I’m loving them, this was actually the first time that I was willing to get them and asked for them hahaha. I like my new me.

This is the sweater, it looks better when it’s on me so I’ll take a picture of me wearing it soon haha.

I just fell in love with this blouse hehe.

I’m addicted to mini-skirts, I’ve been wearing them since I was old enough to choose my own clothes.

Look at the boots, I’m in love hehe. I’ll pretend is the female version of the Beatles’ boots LOL

And lastely, my nails. My cousin is really talented with these, she was always telling me to get them and now that I did I’m happy with the results

Noooooooo, my camera :(

For some odd reason, my camera started taking pictures with horrible lines all across the picture, today… it got worse, now, the pictures keep having those lines but now the picture is also a big big blur. WHYYY???

I try to figure out how could I have possibly break it, but I’ve never dropped it, and I always handle it with care because I know I have no money to buy another one. I take good care of my things. So I’m totally deppressed for losing my camera. For you to get an idea, I can live without my cellphones, I don’t mind having one, but my camera? she goes wherever I go, I’m obsessed of taking pictures of every party I go. Now, I won’t have pictures of the biggest party of the year (New year’s eve) because my stupid camera decided to be a bitch

I’m only hopeful, ’cause my Dad is doing some businnes and he’ll get some money (hopefully… so, get your fingers crossed for us, please) actually, it would be a lot of money, and he’d give me money to get me a car (FINALLY) and money to buy me stuff. So, if he gets it, I’ll be getting new clothes, a car and a new camera. We’ve been waiting for this to happen for so long and now it’s so close, I don’t want to get my hopes high, but I really hope he gets the money, nor only my family needs it, but it would also mean a huge change in my life since I’ve never had a car of my own, it only means… FREEDOM! and I need a little bit of that haha.

Iron Man 2 Trailer

See? I haven’t forget about my Robert Downey Jr. Today I finally watched the trailer for Iron Man 2 (I like to stay away from trailers for as long as possible or know nothing about movies I want to see, I like the surprise effect hehe). But a friend was linking to this video from his MSN account, so I couldn’t help it and I watched it. Now I’m impatient to see the movie. He’s freaking gorgeous. “You complete me” awww he’s so… perfect LOL.

Probably, sometime we’ll get an Iron Man layout hehehe!. For the first one, I made one for Fanatic, so I can’t change the tradition hehe.

A Heath Ledger Tribute Layout

Even though I was totally in love with my past layout, I had the urge to change it and make one dedicated to one of my favorite actors of all time: Heath Ledger. It’s been almost two years since he passed away and I still can’t believe it. I miss him so freaking much it hurts. The layout it’s pretty simple, but that picture of him it’s BEAUTIFUL and had to use it, so I really hope you like it.

When Heath passed away on January 22nd of 2008, I made a tribute video with the song “Slipped Away” by Avril Lavigne that expressed perfectly how I was feeling with the news of his passing. That day, a friend called me just to tell me “Did you heard what happened to Heath Ledger?” I had no idea, so I asked her what happened, when she said “He died” I couldn’t believe it, I laughed thinking she was joking and said “That’s not funny” she asked me to look it up on the internet, so I did. When I found the first head line “Heath Ledger found dead in his NY apartment” I had to tell my friend I’d call her back because I choked in tears.

I read article after article about his death, because I just couldn’t believe it. He couldn’t die, he was 28 years old, he was still a kid, with a baby girl to rise and a career that was finally being recognized. I cried for days, probably a month. I kept playing this song and cry until I couldn’t shed anymore tears. I swear the idea of him gone brought me down like if I really knew him. I’ve been a fan since I was a teenager, probably 15, he was indeed part of my life thanks to his movies.

I couldn’t believe I wouldn’t see him anymore on red carpets or enjoy his interviews, and there was never going to be any more of his movies after The Dark Knight and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, I was truly devastated. After a year of his passing, I made another tribute video now using the song “For Blue Skies”

And now, we’re close to two years of his passing and I still miss him. Every now and then I sit and watch some of his movies and kind of forget his gone, but when reality hits me, it brings me down once more. He was special, ever since I saw 10 Things I Hate About You, I knew he was special, that he’d last years in my “Favorite Actors” list, and even though he’s dead he still is one of my favorite actors and will be probably forever.

You’re greatly missed Heatcliff Andrew Ledger…
