Hachiko: A Dog’s Story
Filed Under Movies, Reviews | Leave a Comment
This is one of the most beautiful and touching movies I’ve ever seen, specially ’cause it’s a true story and Dog’s are really loyal. I loved it, it made me cry and go hug my Dog, just loved it. I had already read the real story and I knew everything about the movie but it still touched every fever of my being. I totally recommend it, specially if you have a dog in your life

Obviously, this movie won a perfect grade from me, I don’t know why it took me so long to see it, this is a MUST SEE!!!. Everything was just perfect, I don’t know how a world so beautiful and perfect could have come from the mind of a human. All the animals, the people, the places, the colors, it was too beautiful. Also, I love the message they want to send. I have no words to explain how much I loved this movie, if you haven’t seen it yet GOOOO NOOOOWWW!!! You’ll never regret it!. I want to see it again!.

I give it only 4/5 stars, because… The wolfman was kinda…. not so scary? hahaha I mean, the movie was AMAZING, kept me in the edge of my seat all the time and jumping from unexpected events, but the whole thing was scarier when the wolfman was still unseen you know? it looked like Chewbacca, they could have done it better, specially ’cause the movie took quite a LOT of time in the making. Also, in my personal opinion, they should have had more information on lycanthropy or something, more background story or something. The acting was awesome, I’ve always thought Benicio del Toro is an amazing actor, and I don’t have to say that Anthony Hopkins is BRILLIANT. Aside from the not so amazing wolfman, all the special effects are AMAZING, when he’s turning into a wolf it’s shocking haha so real, and so freaking COOL. I can’t wait to see it again!. I do recommend it, so go see it if you haven’t already.
Oh, and just a little comment. Ever since I knew who was Benicio del Toro, I always thought he looked like Brad Pitt, but ugly LOL and talented haha! Like a rough version of Pitt, don’t you think? or I’m just delusional?. And another thing, I always said “Brad Pitt looks like Benicio del Toro but handsome” because I thought Benicio was older than Brad, today I found out the shocking truth that Brad Pitt is 4 years OLDER than Benicio… damn, Brad will ever age normally? I mean, he looks like a mature man now, but he hasn’t aged like Benicio, Benicio looks way older and have looked old since like forever. Hahaha I’m shocked!.

I really liked the movie, I’m just in love with messed up guys hehe. And you might already know about my sweet crush for Aaron Eckhart, ever since I saw him in The Dark Knight I try following his career, and this movie didn’t let me down. Jennifer Aniston is one of my favorite actresses, I really really like her. It might not be a must see, but it is an enjoyable movie… I loved it!.

An AMAZING movie. I’m a big Robert Downey Jr. fan and a Jude Law fan, so when I heard they were going to be together in a movie, I almost died. Today I couldn’t even blink during the movie ’cause I didn’t want to miss a thing. It has a little bit of everything, a little romance, comedy, action, etc. Rob and Jude have lots of chemestry together, and are an incredible duo. I once said I only liked Jude Law ’cause of his looks ’cause his acting wasn’t impressive, or I just hadn’t seen a movie of him where I’d be hooked with his acting, until I saw this movie, now I regret the fact that I once said his acting didn’t impress me, he’s amazing. And, well… you already know what I think of Robert Downey Jr. he can play ANY character he wants, he’s a brilliant actor. The movie gets a 5/5 stars because it’s a MUST see.
Watching this movie the second day of the year can only mean one thing: This year is going to ROCK!.

A total chick flick I have to admit, but I simply adored it, that’s why I give it a 5/5 rate. In the movie they introduce you to a couple of relationships that are all connected in some way. And it’s a total slap on a girl’s face, on how we tend to misread men’s behavior, or trying to anylize their actions and then only get a broken heart. My favorite character is Alex (Justin Long) even though he’s blunt with his comments, he’s honest. Gigi is a little pathetic but you grow to like her as the movie goes. There’s an story for almost every girl, so you should watch it if you haven’t. It’s a thumbs up for me.

I give it a 5/5 stars because I liked it waaaaay better than the first one (even though there wasn’t much of my Rob). First of all, the blue-ish tone of the movie is finally gone and is now everything more brown-ish, I liked those colors better. Bella looks WAY better than in the first movie (less pathetic and way more beautiful) like it was now believable that two incredibly hot guys wanted her. But I still don’t like Kristen Stweart, like… she only has two facial expressions and one of them looks like she’s constipated. In the book you can FEEL the pain, in the movie…. you’re like “Are you bored? are you sleepy? what’s wrong with you?” haha. But now I like Jacob hehe, I still think he’s a manipulative looser (when he wants to) but he’s still very sweet and it’s kind of understandable why he acts like a selfish bastard sometimes.
Let’s now talk about my Robert, he’s still not an Oscar-Winner kind of actor, but I personally think his acting improved since the first movie, he keeps frowning almost the entire time and like for everything, but at least it looks better than in the first movie, he’s prolly more comfortable acting than before.
In the end, the movie is good and I think a lot of (romantic) people can relate to it, since we’ve all lost someone we love (Bella) or ran away from someone for their own sake (Edward) or loved someone that didn’t love you back (Jake). I really really liked the movie for sentimental and personal reasons, I loved the book and literally rant about it for hours after I finished reading it.
The only one thing that frustrated me were the teenage screaming girls, and it wasn’t because they were screaming but because they screamed more for Jacob than for Edward when in the first movie they’d go crazy every time Edward was on the screen… pfff hehe!.

When I first saw the trailer for this movie a long long time ago I thought “Pff… my best friend’s wedding all mixed up” and thought I wouldn’t like it, but you know what? I loved it. It’s really sweet and I’ve always liked Patrick Dempsey since I saw him in Grey’s Anatomy and Enchanted, he’s soooo cute (and I just remember watching him on a really OLD movie where he was a geek xD) anyway, the movie is all about a friendship turning into love and how he fights for the girl, or like his friends called it “Steal the bride” haha. It’s also really funny. I totally loved it… can’t say anything else more than if you like romantic movies you’re gonna love this one.

I didn’t catch it since the beginning since my niece, nephew and I were busy choosing snacks for the movie hehe but I’ve already read the books, so it wasn’t a problem. I only give three stars to the movie because, even though I don’t remember every detail of the book ’cause I’ve read it a long time ago, there were a lot of things I didn’t remember and that I didn’t like. I specially loved Hermione in this one, she was so awww!!. I was about to burst in tears just a little before the end, those parts were my favorite ’cause I could really feel them and awwww. Oh and I saw it dubbed in Spanish so it wasn’t the same. I want to see it in English.

I just HAD to give it a perfect grade. It is an amazing movie and I loved it, but then again each their own and this probably is my kind of movie but not yours. It’s always active, there are always fight scenes and they’re always moving. As we all already know (I think) in this movie John Connor is a grown man now, and he’s fighting Skynet and most importantly, he’s trying to save Kyle Reese. The cast has three names I simply adore, Christian Bale, Anton Yelchin and Helena Bonham Carter. When I read Anton was going to be in the movie I thought he was going to get a small character, but he didn’t and I enjoyed his acting almost the whole movie, he’s amazing. The ending leaves you wanting more, and you can tell there’s going to be a follow up, so let’s just sit patiently for the next one. I don’t want to say more ’cause I don’t want to ruin the movie for you, ’cause maybe like myself you don’t remember little details about the previous three movies that can totally give away this one hehe!.
